Our Mission

The mission of the Avian Science Center is to promote ecological awareness and informed decision making through the collection, synthesis, and dissemination of science-based information on western birds.

New website launched!

Our new website has been launched very recently and we are thrilled to show your our new look. During this transition phase, we are fixing a few broken links, so please be patient with us while we work to get this site fully functional. We do hope you like our new look!

Field Season in full swing

The Avian Science Center is in the midst of collecting field data this summer. We have projects in the Big Hole, the Upper Clark Fork Valley, Dillon area, and the Madison River Valley. We will be wrapping up the season around the middle of July, except those working on the Clark Fork project, who will be collecting data on small mammals, bats, and herps.
