The University of Montana hosts a number of respected faculty with particular interest in birds research and monitoring, wildlife management, and conservation. The Avian Science Center works directly with faculty from the Division of Biological Sciences, the Wildlife Biology Program within the College of Forestry and Conservation, and the Montana Cooperative Wildlife Research Unit (USGS Biological Resources Division).
