Ty is studying bird abundance, nest success, and refueling performance in relation to riparian vegetation along the Madison and Missouri Rivers. He is pursuing his M.S. in Wildlife Biology at UM and works with wolves whenever and wherever he can.. Ty defended his thesis September 7, 2007 and has just headed off to Ecuador to work with his wife, Kristina, and Round River. Just a few revisions and he can move down and hang out with Bruce and Fernando below..... |

Bruce investigated the evolution of avian habitat selection behavior. In particular, he is interested in how human alteration of natural habitats may create ecological traps - habitats that birds are attracted to - but ones that are poor in terms of survival or reproduction. |

José Fernando Villaseñor-Gómez |

Fernando received his M.S. in Biology from the University of Montana in 1993, and inow has completed his Ph.D at UM. His interests include aspects of habitat use and physiological performance of migrant birds in the wintering grounds. He is also an Associate Professor at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, in Morelia, Mexico.
