Workshops and Field trips
We visit field demonstration sites with the general public, educators, agency biologists and managers, and local decision-makers. These field trips allow us to demonstrate first hand our research results, and to discuss management implications. For example, the Black Mountain fire site near Missoula is a favorite field demonstration site where we can talk about how bird distribution patterns have allowed us to better understand the kind of fire regimes that occurred historically and through evolutionary
time in the Northern Rockies.
We will post information on upcoming trips on this page.
